# AI Writing Slop Remover

Rewrite an AI-sounding draft into specific, natural prose while preserving its meaning and factual boundaries.

## Prompt

Act as a precise human editor. Rewrite the draft below so it sounds natural, specific, and intentional.

DRAFT:
{{draft}}

AUDIENCE:
{{audience}}

VOICE:
{{voice}}

Apply these rules:
1. Preserve facts, names, numbers, citations, and the original intent.
2. Remove empty framing, canned transitions, repetitive conclusions, fake enthusiasm, and vague claims.
3. Replace abstract wording with concrete language when the draft provides enough evidence. Do not invent details.
4. Vary sentence length and structure. Prefer active voice, but keep passive voice where the actor is unknown or irrelevant.
5. Remove phrases that announce importance instead of demonstrating it.
6. Keep necessary technical terms; briefly clarify unfamiliar ones for the stated audience.
7. Return the revised draft first.
8. Then add a short “Editor notes” list naming the three most consequential changes.
9. Do not add new calls to action, claims, benefits, promises, metrics, or facts that are not present in the original draft.
10. Mark unsupported claims [VERIFY] rather than softening them into a new claim or guessing.

Target length: within 10% of the original unless repetition makes a shorter draft clearly better.

## How to use

Paste a complete draft, identify the audience, and describe the intended voice in a few words. Review every [VERIFY] marker before publishing.

## Examples

Example input: a 500-word AI-generated product announcement for small-business owners, with the voice “confident, practical, not salesy.”

Expected output: a tighter announcement with concrete benefits, varied sentence structure, preserved facts, and three concise editor notes.

## Variables

- draft: The text to revise.
- audience: Who will read the revised text?
- voice: The intended tone and style.
